“What’s your poison?”

A party, a little white lie, and Jess is left to clear up the mess.

Jessica needs that promotion. And she can’t tell anyone why. She just has to get through one more night then she can come clean with her partner. One more night, and she can finally be herself.

A play with music from Berlioz to Britten, Weill to Wallen, spanning opera, jazz and many genres of song, as well as new music by viral classical composer/cabaret artist Ben Comeau; "outstanding" (The Guardian) singing actor Stephanie Wake-Edwards stars in this operatic black comedy, an anthem for anyone pretending to be someone they're not.

Jessica: Stephanie Wake-Edwards

Writer/Director: Simone Ibbett-Brown

Conductor: André Callegaro

Dramaturg: Cassiopeia Berkeley-Agyepong

Composer: Ben Comeau
